Coir fibre is the long strand that runs through the coconut husk. We defibre fresh husk, dry the fibre on open yards and clean it of pith before pressing it into hydraulic bales.

What is the minimum order for coir fibre?
The minimum order is one 20 ft container. Coir Fibre can also share a container with another JCM line.
How much coir fibre fits in a container?
A 20 ft container holds about 90 bales (about 10 t), and a 40 ft HC holds about 200 bales (about 22 t). Exact counts depend on packing.
What is the lead time?
Lead time is 14 – 21 days from order to gate, FOB Colombo. Sea transit to your port is additional.
Can I see a sample first?
Yes. We courier a sample within five working days and credit the courier cost against your first container.
